All workers as defined under the WHS Legislation.

This program looks at the roles and responsibilities of workers under the Australian Work Health and Safety legislation.

The course defines who workers are under the legislation, and points out that people in a workplace can have multiple duties and responsibilities at the same time under the WHS Act. For example, a working director of a company is classified as both an officer of the company and as a worker.

The program also defines in considerable detail the specific role that workers have to look after their own safety at work and the safety of others who may be affected by the things that workers do and the things that they fail to do. Many practical examples are given.

The course ends with a list of practical things that workers can do to look after themselves and others at work as well as details of the consequences for non-compliance.

The program is followed by a quiz which requires a pass mark of 80% to be considered competent.

A certificate is available to print off on satisfactory completion of the course and the quiz.
