Introduction to Work Health and Safety
This program looks at the roles and responsibilities of workers under the Australian Work Health and Safety legislation.
The course defines who workers are under the legislation, and points out that people in a workplace can have multiple duties and responsibilities at the same time under the WHS Act. For example, a working director of a company is classified as both an officer of the company and as a worker.

This program defines a confined space and discusses that a confined space is determined by the hazards that may exist, not just because the work is done in a small space.
The course then identifies the typical hazards associated with working in confined spaces and specifies the various control measures that can be adopted to minimise the risks associated with those hazards.
The program also covers the need for a Confined Spaces Entry Permit to be issued before any work commences in a confined space. The program details the way that such a permit is issued and its contents.
The course then raises awareness of organisational and individual strategies to prevent and to deal with bullying, and shows you what everyone can do to help maintain a positive workplace.
The course provides the regulatory framework for workplace bullying and differentiates between direct and indirect bullying giving detailed examples of each type of behaviour.
This program is designed to allow people involved in working alone to undertake a valid risk assessment of working alone and to act on that risk assessment in their workplace.

Preventing Slips, Trips & Falls
This program is designed to allow people to undertake a valid risk assessment to prevent slips, trips and falls and to act on that risk assessment in their workplace.
The Safe Handing of Sharps
This program defines sharps what sharps are and sets out the major hazards associated with handling sharps in the workplace.
This program is designed to allow people involved in manual handling to undertake a valid risk assessment of manual handling tasks and to act on that risk assessment in their workplace.
This program defines hot work and sets out the major hazards associated with hot work in the workplace.
Dealing with Aggressive People
This program concentrates on dealing with people who show unacceptably aggressive behaviour – shouting, threatening, and swearing. Without proper handling such people can become physically violent and cause injury to you, other people or property. The program looks at the skills of restraint and some other interpersonal skills that can help you to successfully manage these potentially dangerous situations.
Childcare Emergency Response
This program is designed to help you understand what you need to do in the event of an emergency response being necessary at work. It emphasizes the need for Emergency Response Plans to be in place.
Safe Cleanup of Bio Spills
This program is designed to allow people involved in cleaning up Bio Spills to undertake a valid risk assessment of this task and to act on that risk assessment in their workplace.
Building Occupant Training
This program helps you understand what you need to do in the event of a building evacuation being required. It emphasizes the need for an overall Emergency Evacuation Plan.
Contractor Induction Program
The course covers twenty one (21) categories of information, including the regulatory framework and standards to be complied with, training and qualifications required and general safety issues that must be complied with on the worksite.

This program defines what manual handling is and goes through the steps involved in completing a risk assessment of manual handling tasks in a health or aged care environment.
By-laws cover behaviour of residents and the use of common property. They can cover issues such as whether pets are allowed on the scheme, how smoking is regulated, parking and noise levels
Collective Sale and Renewal
The law now provides for a collective sale and renewal procedure if owners want to sell or redevelop their scheme
Common Property and the Lot
A strata scheme is a building, or collection of buildings, where the property that each individual owns is called a ‘lot’ (for example, an apartment, villa or townhouse) or everyone shares ownership of the ‘common property’, such as external walls, foyers and driveways.
Levies and Capital Works Funds
This course covers all topics you need to know about Owners Corporation Levies and Funds.

New Strata Laws (NSW)
